Questions about plans and billing
What counts as a location?
A kitchen with its own items, prices, recipes and waste log: a restaurant, a second unit, or a commissary that preps for others. You pay for each location you keep active.
Can I try Pro before paying?
The Free plan has no time limit, so you can set up your items, run yield tests and cost recipes before you decide. Pro starts the moment you pay, so payments aren't refunded; you can cancel any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
How does billing work?
Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, for the number of locations you choose, and renews until you cancel. A location you add mid-term is charged right away for the days left until renewal. Removing one leaves a credit on your next invoice.
How do I cancel?
In the app, under Settings, Billing, Manage billing. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then your kitchen moves to Free. Nothing you saved is deleted.
What happens to my data on Free?
It stays. Free keeps your first location and its owner open; other people and locations wait, unchanged, until you're back on Pro.
Do you charge in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Kitchens set up in Canada pay CA$49 a month or CA$432 a year per location. Everyone else pays in US dollars.
